Life drawing

These are my life drawings I did during some lessons at college. They helped a lot with drawing the human figure and would recommend it to anyone interested in drawing. This also helped for some design projects where I designed a chair from the shapes I had drawn.

Shortlisted Paul Smith Changing Room

My most enjoyed project this year at university has to be this live project with Paul Smith. The project was to Design a free standing changing room, some of the Paul Smith stores are large open plan spaces and a free standing changing room offers a truly blank canvas for creativity – the structure itself, the interior but also meeting the practical needs of the customer.
The piece of art from the Stockholm furniture fair 2010 that inspired the line design
from these videos and his online blog, showing his likes for all forms of art, and his likes for colour. But the main inspiration came from his studio where he "collected" objects that inspired him and made things more "fun". The idea of a message board came into mind as a place to store objects.
Below are the pieces that where short listed and sent to be seen by Paul Smith. The results and comments from Paul Smith are in this month's blue print magazine.
